Introduction
Have you read Inferno or seen the film? On this literary route through Florence you'll follow in the footsteps of Professor Robert Langdon through the settings of Dan Brown's novel, while the guide takes you through the plot.
From the Piazza della Signoria you'll walk past the Bargello National Museum and Florence Cathedral, and stop at the tower of the Badia Fiorentina and the Baptistery of St John, two key settings of the chase.
The route ends inside the Palazzo Vecchio, with a guided visit of about 50 minutes: the Hall of the Five Hundred, Michelangelo's sculpture Genius of Victory, Dante's death mask and the Hall of Geographical Maps. Is the palace really as full of secret passages as Langdon said?
How it works
It's a walk around the centre of Florence that ends with the visit to the Palazzo Vecchio. You can book it up to 8 hours in advance, as long as there are places left.
