Literary festivals in Spain

137 festivals by genre, from January to December

Introduction

An experience to try at least once

Have you ever been to a literary festival? If you love literature, this is one of those experiences you have to try at least once in your life. You'll get to meet well-known authors up close, go to talks about literature and surround yourself with people who love books (almost) as much as you do.

The good news is that literary festivals in Spain are all the rage, and more and more of them are popping up in cities big and small all year round. Best of all, they're increasingly varied: as well as traditional literary festivals, there are more and more festivals specialising in different literary genres.

To make it easier for you to choose the literary festivals in Spain that suit you best, we've divided them into several categories.
