Comic fairs and conventions in Spain

56 comic conventions and festivals by region, from Andalusia to La Rioja

Introduction

Graphic storytelling can be read live too

Because for us literary tourism covers every kind of literature, comics simply had to be part of our section on the best literary events. So if you're a fan of the ninth art, grab a pen and paper, because here's our round-up of the main comic conventions in Spain.

Throughout the year, Spain hosts more than fifty of these fairs, events that always have a fun, festive atmosphere as they're packed with all kinds of activities. In our round-up we've gathered the events where comics take centre stage (conventions with signings and exhibitions of original artwork, fanzine and self-publishing festivals, or days with creators), so events focused mainly on anime, cosplay or video games have been left out.
